The Power of Focus

In this second episode of a five-part series, financial educator and author Vanessa Stoykov details the way FOCUS contributes to how financially comfortable we are, both now and later in life. Vanessa is joined by serial entrepreneur Andrew Rocks to dive deep into the lessons learned from fictional characters pulled from Vanessa's finance novel "The Breakfast Club for 40-Somethings."

FICTIONAL CHARACTER · FROM THE NOVEL

Meet Jasper

A good time guy in his mid 40s, it is easy to believe that Jasper may have peaked at high school. With his love of a good time, Jasper has lived from job to job, party to party and has moved back in with his Mum. We all know someone like Jasper, the likeable larrikin, good time rogue who never really grew up. But his mother isn't getting any younger, and she is worried what will happen to him once she is gone. Jasper has never really made good financial decisions, and she worries he will blow whatever money she leaves him.
