Make 2017 The Year You Unlearn Money

Category: Financial Freedom
Welcome back to The Investment Series. It was great to take a break, spend time with family and recharge.

So far it’s been quite a year – we’ve already seen the effects of the new Trump administration, and what that means for markets, globalisation, and where to find the safest investments.

As these events unfold, I believe it’s important to try not to buy into the stories the press are generating every day. They serve only to create the emotions of fear and doubt – something that is of no use to any of us. Rather, we need clarity and focus to make the best of the life we have been given.

Here at No More Practice, we have a singular focus for our community in 2017 – to provide investment insight and education from some of the best and most experienced money managers from around the globe, which contains minimum jargon, is timely, interesting and of value to you.

So, with our partners in The Collective, you will not only see this learning reflected in latest Nine Network TV series screening later this year, but will also receive weekly insight on the art and science of investing.

As the creator of No More Practice and founder of our production house, evolution media group, I have long seen the challenges of a technical industry, like financial services, in finding a commonality and way of communicating with people that is interesting, short-form and easy to digest.

I have also seen the challenges people, myself included, have around knowing what to do to build their wealth for the long term, whilst paying the necessities along the way, and having some fun.

By spending the last 23 years in financial services, I have had the opportunity to learn from some of the sharpest minds around money and investing. And to truly get the best out of this knowledge, I came to the realisation that I had to unlearn a lot of things I thought I knew.

So this year I will be sharing my journey with you – about what I needed to unlearn about money to really grow my wealth. I will also be talking to interesting people from all walks of life about what they had to unlearn to get where they are today.

I look forward to sharing these stories with you and hope it helps you further along your wealth journey to get the life you dream of.
